suzee, I really liked your hummingbirds and turtle!

It seems to me that I've seen someone on TV adhere fabric on to the canvas and decoupage it on, then seal it. But I don't know who.

I haven't tried one with fabric. I think you would have to fuse your fabric to a heavy canvas and then apply the finish. It's the five coats of polyurethane that makes it stand up to traffic.

Your painted ones are beautiful but I think fabric is the only way that I'll be able to accomplish one.

The kits they had included Mod-Podge but (since I have yards and yards of it) fusing might be the best for me.

Did you use anything on the backing to keep them from slipping?

No, I am on Mac so it is iphoto. My fear is maybe the stick is full and maybe the pics are really on the camera. I don't know how to get them off the camera if they saved there. I don't have another stick. Hmm, have to delete pics off stick and don't want to till I print. Technology may be leaving me a bit behind. I'm givin it a good try though!!

They are all pretty. I like the turtle on the black & white one.

The canvas that I bought has a non-skid backing; feels kind of 'rubbery.' I think if you used a non-skid mat like you would put under a room sized rug, it would not slide.
