    woo hooo congrats its soo exciting to get your first machine I was 20 and expecting my first child when I got my brother and my son is 5 now and I still use my brother all the tme :)

    I actually do have a small one. I have been hand piecing and quilting for about a year. I have actually had some amazing support from board members here. My budget has very tight the last couple years, I'm paying off student loans, still new in my career, and trying to help my sick mom make ends meet. I have had so so much support, in fabric and supply donations, advice and tips, patterns and prayers, as well as moral support from the folks here on the board.

    I know it sounds silly, but it kinda reinforces my faith in humanity.
