    Looks like plenty to me and a really good job! My Mother-in-law always just quilted along the seams and never had problems no matter what batting she used.

    I think it is lovely. New to quilting so didn't know there is a minimum amount of quilting required by the batting. I also get my batting off a large roll. Nice of you to hand quilt this when you don't like it.

    I agree!! you have done a great job and helps the pattern of the piecing stand out!!! I too think less is more. I think there is alot of quilting done and you have done a great job - I would think its close enough for any batting requirements. She should really love it!!! :thumbup: :-D

    the quilting is perfect...I think too much quilting, smashes the fabric too much and it doesn't look like a quilt any longer..takes away any puffiness..;}
