I've been sewing my whole life, making my clothes, my daughter's clothes, and now my grandkids' clothes. When my daughter got married in 2003, I made my daughter's wedding dress, 3 jr. bridesmaids dresses, 5 bridesmaids dresses, the flower girl's dress, my mom's dress, and altered my dress. I loved making them all !!!!! I love making all kinds of clothes, decorations and projects as well as quits.

Not me, when I got this crazy idea of making a quilt, I didn't even know how to thread a machine....LOL...I should have stayed ignorant, I'd probably be rich!!!

I started sewing when I was 6. Started with a Barbie doll dress. I have done sewing for dolls, my sons, me and my husband. I have done clothes, crafts curtains, bedspreads and quilting. I really have enjoyed having a granddaughter. She loves penquins; so I try to find anything penguin to sew for her.

I have done it all. Ball gowns, weddings, a bit of upholstry, cross stitch, everything but embroidery. Resisted quilting up until a couple of years ago and joined a group at our church. Totally hooked now.

I've been sewing since I was 8. I made doll clothes at first, then a skirt for my little sister. I sewed most of my clothes during HS and college and for a few years after marriage. Then I sewed for my kids. I've made large bed spreads, coverlets, curtains, drapes and re-covered furniture. I started quilting less than 2 years ago. Since then I've also gotten into making bags and purses.

Simpler sewing..like vests...jumpers...have done sleeves...like in jackets, but don't really like to. Also have sewn pillows, curtains, valances, even dust ruffles...gathered ones...that is a lot of gathering!

Have also done a lot of different needlework...embroidery, blackwork, needlepoint, cross-stitch, hardanger, pulled thread, using metallic threads.

And have done weaving, spinning, knit, crochet, etc.

I do love quilting the best though!

I do a lot of other sewing. Currently finishing up Halloween costumes! Love it anytime I'm in front of my sewing machine!
