    I've learned from members of my guild the importance/value of labeling your work...even when you gift them. I's a way of "signing" your work and in years to come your children and their children, etc. will be able to look at it and see the history. A lot of time, work, not to mention LOVE goes into what you/we do and on it, you can put things like the name of the quilt, the year it was made...like a gift tag. I've seen some labels from the simple to the extravagant and there are some wonderful QB members that make them too!!!
