Your idea of putting a bunny in the center, holding a tulip is really great. Isn't it amazing how we can change things to make them fit into our very own scheme?
You took this one out of the box & it looks terrific!! Thank you for sharing with all of us today.

Here is my April tulip block.

I learned (or really, RElearned) a valuable lesson today. DO NOT use 'heat n bond'. ALWAYS use Wonder Under. I should have known this, as the same thing happened to me last month when I was doing my "Hello Sun" block...but the heat n bond stuff really gunks up the needle! Then the thread kept breaking, probably due to the sticky stuff on the needle....I was very frustrated!! However, I guess it came out 'good enough'.
Will definitely be buying more Wonder Under, as well as more machine needles!

Your Tulip block for April's 2012 BOM turned out really nice. I love the color's you chose to put together. They really compliment each other. Your applique' work is very nice too. Thank you for sharing with all of us here on the Quilting Board today!!

Here is my April block. I didn't make the tulip because I'm making this for my granddaughter and I wanted a bunny, but did the applique the same as I would have with the tulip. So keeping in the same thought. Also I embellished two of my blocks since I now know how to use my embroidery machine. This is going to be such a cute quilt when we are finished. I love everyone else's blocks.
Glad everyone is save with all the storms and tornado's around. These last couple of years really have been different, no matter where you live.
