When I saw the lst picture, I thought it would be ugly, but you made the best of it and the quilt is quiet nice. I love the pattern you chose. Give yourself a pat on the back. The picture of the quilt looks pretty good.

You certainly did a fantastic job with the resources available to you! It looks great - not my taste but it is still a great quilt!

You are a miracle worker and it's too bad. She's probably warming you up for some truly terrible stuff. I would have burned that chevron stuff right off the bat! You are a good woman, friend, and very gifted designer. Hats off to you but I worry that you have set yourself up for even worse!

Well, it is an interesting combination, but you made it work!! The actual design is great for all these fabrics. I have to tell you, I laughed at your post. What a great writer you are!

I have seen worse. I kind of like, you did a great job and the pattern is very pretty. Shows your talents, working with less than perfect fabric choices. I think you passed the test. Always remember the old saying - different strokes for different folks. So good we don't all have the same tastes. Sure would be a boring world.

I love this! I'm going to spring it on DH sometime. He has some unusual sayings but I've never heard this one.

The quilt is much better than I expected after seeing the fabrics. I'm not really fond of green in the first place but you really did a great job with some challenging fabrics. It's a good thing you have a sense of humor!

Wow, I think you pulled it off. considering how the fabrics looked before they were cut you really made something amazing out of them. You are to be commended.
