Beautiful quilt! It will be cherished, I'm sure.

I can very well see why this one gave a large "hurt" to part with. I do not think that I could let go of such a gorgeous quilt, no matter the price. That is a lot of time and perfection going bye-bye in that quilt.

Your quilt is gorgeous!! I would have a hard time parting with it also.

That is a very pretty quilt. Most of mine go somewhere to someone. I have a large extended family. I would have trouble letting go of that one, too. Hopefully it will be loved.

I seem to form an attachment to every one I make. By the time I spend so much time on them, it's hard to let them go. My problem though is I don't have much family to give them to & they all have quilts now. My special friends already have them now, too. It's the process of making them that I love.

Beautiful quilt! I can understand both why the family member wanted to purchase it (what a lovely gift it will make) and why you want to hang on to it. I do not have a stash of quilts because I seem to always be making them for someone else - my own just do not get done - I have at least 3 UFOs that are mine and have been in process for about 6 years. Oh well.

Every quilt I have made has been on request for someone...you get so attached its like saying goodbye to a close friend! I know some I will never see again do to distance so I take pictures, clear my mind and go on to the next quilt on the list. I need to put my name on that list because I still do not have a quilt! Your quilt is so beautiful,
it does help to know that others are enjoying all of your hard work!

Beautiful quilt! I'd hate to see it go too. But just think of the happy couple that will be getting it.

The colours flow so nicely in that quilt that I can totally see why you are to see it leave. Just remember that you had it for nine years and now someone else can enjoy it.

A beautiful quilt and I am sure the newlyweds will love it. Nice job! I don't form any attachments to any quilts. Make all of mine with the intention of making someone else happy. Give lots to local charities
