Beautiful quilt, and I'm sure it wasn't easy. How large is it? Your fabric choices are wonderful. But I'm a little confused, because I don't see anything wrong with what the friends said. If they had also made that quilt, should they pretend they hadn't? It seems to me that they must have liked the pattern to have purchased it and spent the time making it. There must be something I'm not understanding. Didn't they also compliment your work?

Love love love it! Your work is beautiful! The shading and choice of fabrics are wonderful! I would guess your son is feeling very happy and loved with this work of art!

You did a fantastic job. It is a beautiful picture. After attempting a similar project that was much smaller and simpler, I understand how much work went into it. Wow!!

That's just lovely. I've never attempted that method...wouldn't know where to start (except buy the pattern, buy the fabric...got that part of quilting down!!!). Your "friends" are probably jealous of the wonderful scene. It just makes me think I'm in the woods looking right at that deer.

What a beautiful quilt! Just because someone else has done something, it doesn't mean your accomplishment is any less worthy of admiration. We are meant to inspire each other by what we've done and hope to do.
