    Very nice quilts, I like the 3rd one, but maybe because I can appreciate your work, as it is one I wouldn't even try to piece. Thanks for showing

    Thank you for your post. I bought 18 hand sewn feedsack Dresden plates about 5-6 yrs ago at an estate sale for $3. There are 14 blades on each plate, an unusual number, but looks good. Great find, but they have just been waiting... (and waiting, and waiting...) for me to put them together. So far, I have not found a setting pattern that I like. And now, I see your post, with 18 Dresden blocks, in a setting that looks like just what I needed. Yaaay. Don't know why I never thought of setting them on point, but now I can put them onto muslin blocks and finish my quilt
