My fav is my 6x12, but the one that gets used the most if my 8.5x24. However I only use the big one for cutting WOF, and then I usually switch to a smaller size for cutting the strips.

I have a narrower 24" ruler, and like that one too, but too often I needed to cut a strip wider than it.

I have a lot of rulers, and love to select the one most suitable for what I'm doing. I probably would not need to have so many, but I'm a sucker for gadgets and love rulers.

Mine is the Easy Ruler II 6.5 x 24 inch, the second, and most appropriate ruler I bought when I first began quiltmaking. I use it for all my cutting and by now it's an old friend I couldn't do without. I do have others -- square Omnigrids and a little triangle Easy Ruler that I also love, but the ER II is my standby.

I use my June Taylor Short Cut. I make a lot of my own precuts......it's perfect for cutting binding....and it's quick....I hate cutting....it's the one thing in quilting that I would pay someone else to do for me.

I have lots of rulers by Omnigrip/grid. The 6x12,6.5x6.5 and 6x24 are the rulers that I use the most.

I use my Omnigrid 6.5x24 the most and just bought the June Taylor Shape Cut. I also like both the 6 inch & the 12 inch Add-A-Quarter rulers for paper piecing. I square up blocks with various Omnigrid squares.
