I have seen Quilters Dream Batting on MassDrop.

https://www.massdrop.com/buy/quilter...bamboo-batting they are currently running the bamboo batting.

It does take a while for the product to arrive, I have not ordered batting, but have been happy with the fabrics and the design wall I bought.

I bought one pkg from local quilt shop some time ago. I tried it then for a quilt and decided it was too loose, sort of flimsy, so didn't use it. This last month, in desperation, as I was snowed and iced in for to weeks, decided to use that batt. I won't go into detail, but will only say that Quilter's Dream is now in my vocabulary as Quilter's Nightmare.

I love Hobbs Polydown for my quilts that get a lot of hard use and washing and Hobbs 80/20 and always have a roll of each. Pricewise, the roll always works out cheaper for me.
i hate packaged batting for that reason too!!! While I like Hobbs 80/20, I hate that they fold and roll it into the packaging, stretching it out of shape. Even a trip through the dryer doesn't flatten it out. Why do they do that? Anyway, as soon as I use up my packaged batting I'll be shopping for batting on the roll too!

I love Quilter's Dream, but just buy as I need it--not very economical, but I work very slowly, so it suits me to buy that way.

I order direct from them and buy the rolls. It is my absolute favorite batting!

You can also find rolls on Wal-Mart.com at a real good price and pick up at store for free shipping!!

Can you ask a LQS or your 'local machine quilter' to order it for you? If you pick it up yourself, it might save some costs like shipping? Worth a phone call.

I got a couple of good deals from Massdrop. Haven't checked in a while because I have a good supply.

Never had that problem with Quilter's Dream packaged batts. It is the best.

I have had good luck from this seller too. I get e-mail notifications of the sales.
