    Geri B, you have a couple of treasures! I can comment on the first one. We have a DWR that my husband's grandmother made in the 1930's and it has many of the same fabrics in it that are shown in your picture. It is a treasure for sure. She made one for every one of her grandchildren-all 16 of them. My husband was 5 years old when she made it for a wedding gift. His mother had it stored away until our special day. We are about to celebrate our 50th anniversary next month. It was always fun to visit cousins and talk about the fabrics that were used in all of our quilts-lots of duplicates. The quilts were machine pieced and hand quilted. DWR quilts were a very common wedding gift of the era.
