Mr. Stitchnripper had his done. He grew up thinking he was half Italian and half German. come to find out that he is half Italian and half Jewish. Turns out there is a long story there, from WWII and such. My lineage is well documented thanks to a cousin who did a geneology study on my father's side, and my mother's side came from pretty much the same areas in Europe, ancestors apparently knowing each other as much as she could tell. Of course there could always be a surprise somewhere!

I think the world would benefit from DNA of everyone. medical advances and scientific and what ever else might go forward more if we knew more about ourselves. there is always someone who wants to use things to their own benefit. Can't stop that. little people.

Had mine done through Ancestry . I am doing my family tree. I love it. I am back to the year 987 on my grandfathers side. He was related to "King Robert the Bruce" so it was easy to trace back. Just did a test through Family tree and it has not came back yet. Can't wait to see if it has any other info. Have found some long lost family and really enjoyed meeting them.
