Windblown, my quilt with 30 blocks and sashings, set straight 5x6, measures 56"x66" so far. My border will add another 6" all the way around. Total size should end up 68"x78".

Pagzz.... hmmm. Not sure I love that green with your other colors. Perhaps another shade of green?

Thank You, if I'm in it for 25 blocks I should be up for 30 right?

Pagzz, Maybe try a darker lavender violet instead of the green. The Color Tool shows you would be changing from analogous to split-complementary if you used a green
I hope this helps you.

Sewbizgirl ... fantastic border!!

pagzz ...perhaps a different shade of green would compliment the lavender better. Something in a light mint, or light pea green. I do like the lavender border pieces though.

thank you Windblown, Doghouse and Sewbiz. Perhaps my dissatisfaction is too much time spent sewing the purple because I am sick of it...

I totally understand. Having the same issue with coral and may make some color changes myself.
