    Default All Tucked In

I got this pattern from a friend. The quilt is about 47 inches square. The pups are made of minky, fleece, and suede cloth. The backing is a heavy minky that is folded to the front to make the binding. There is no batting.

Cute pups! The minkey binding looks great, was it hard to work with, getting it folded to the front and stitched down?

My longarm didn't like it at all. I got the timing so far off that I had to use my Janome to quilt it. It was really easy to bind the quilt with the minky. I left about 1 1/4 inches around the perimeter to bring to the front and turn under. I machine stitched it. I did cut out the fullness on the corner and stitch a tiny seam to miter it before I brought it to the front.
