Default Nephew’s Quilt

I finally wrapped up this quilt, but now that it’s finished, I worry I made bad choices with the pattern along with way. Does anybody else fall into that habit after they finish a quilt?

It looks good! Don't be so hard on yourself. I think we all second guess ourselves more than we should.

Your quilt looks fine to me. I'm sure your nephew will treasure it.

It looks like a perfect "guy" quilt to me. He doesn't want florals, yunno.

Yes! Especially when it is made for someone specific. I seem to second guess what they would like. That's why I prefer to just make a quilt my way and let the special person select one they would like. Going thru a stack of quilts, they always have a favorite one out of the stack. Your quilt looks great. The grey/aqua/red combination is right in line with what young people like these days. Good job.

Good job! It's got a modern vibe to it. And yes, second guessing (and third and fourth) happen with me after just about every quilt. But any I've made for a specific person have been made with their tastes in mind, and lots of love. They have all received their quilt with gratitude and admiration.

Ok, thank you everyone! You make me feel better to know many of you second guess your designs.
