I reached my 20 min time limit editing my prior post. I've been timed out from the site before while talking away, losing posts. Probably more than you all want to know anyway. That post was all about me, and I lost time before I got social.
@QuiltingPandaBear I'm going to look back at prior pages to look up your Scrappy Sampler.
@thimblebug6000 that Safari block meercat is too cute. I used to watch the Meercat documentary. My DD would call, what are you doing? Watching my soap. She'd ask "Meercats?" lol yes. I downloaded the block, and I'm tempted to pay for the two prior blocks. Adorable.
The pat sloan log cabin is sweet & I see possibilities, but I've started at least 4 possibly 6 quilts in the last few weeks, so I'll bow out of that one. Look forward to your discussion & pix @Mkotch & thimblebug.

Here are my most recent additions. This includes the last two weeks for the Scrappy Sampler. I did up templates and sewed the curved block. Then the latest block from Cali & Co. The last pic is the Star Stepper quilt - it used up almost all of my strings. I cut out all the border strips for the Cali blocks before I used up the rest for that quilt. I have a small tote of larger size scraps set aside to use on the BOM/BOW projects. Always nice to get the scraps down, though they never stay down long.

@quiltmouse yes it’s It's Jessica Dayon 2025 Scrappy And I need EVERYONE’s help!!!
My scrappy sampler is rose themed and used light and hot pinks with rose motifs, and greens. I have perhaps sampled much much too widely from the greens spectrum and and realizing my pea greens and sage greens and teal greens, while all individually go well with the feature pink fabrics, maybe are not going to play together. What would you do:
- continue the mush mash as is and let it be what it is
- split them into 2 quilts (worried I won’t finish any this way)
- pick a tighter green family from here on out and remake a few blocks that were in the clashing color
- other?
attaching some photos of my blocks

@QuiltingPandaBear Most of the greens tend towards olive so I don't see the clash. In the first pic there is one (upper right) that is different enough I'd be tempted to not use it. But the others all seems to harmonize well. Maybe from here on tighten the green family but don't toss out the outliers but scatter them around?

@Macybaby Sew, you're telling me the quilt pattern I said I was using that you thanked me for mentioning so you could use up your strings, like just days ago, your flimsy is done? Bwahahaha! Great Job. It's cute!
I have one finished log cabin courthouse and one star block.
Not to argue with Brigit-Carol. That said, here's my opinion.
@QuiltingPandaBear I am in cutting stage of a quilt that I am purposely using many different greens. Think of a pink only garden, but variety of different plants. Iris, rose, coneflower. The garden is full of many different greens, and it is all gorgeous. Greens tie. Redish, yellowish, brownish, blueish. IMO, your quilt will be fine.

Quilting Panda, I've made many sampler type quilts, and several BOOM quilts where I get fabric selected from lots of other people. I've found the only time something looks out of place is if it's the only block that uses an odd color. As long as there are an assortment of blocks using each of the color shades, they should end up fine. I tend to move toward getting too "matchy" with my sampler and scrap quilts, and then I loose the randomness that I'm going for to start with. So I have to fight against that and let in more variation.
