@Mkotch , "thanks for letting us know" ? if you meant chisels, it would totally be my own error within my own work, NOT Aby's pattern. My problem is, the chisels are in my focus fabric where I was using up two beloved fat quarters, I cannot re-cut them. Normally, I would. I'm going to fudge, and make the outside triangles longer. It shouldn't affect the design of the block, MY chisel points on this one block will be further from the edge. Added bonus, the points can't possibly be cut off!
@dpendleton those are really pretty. I think you are going to like that sashing with your blocks! I love that one focus fabric, and the fussy cut squares on point.

When I thanked someone for letting me know, I meant thanks for letting me know that the next blocks have been posted. I wasn't talking about chisels LOL! Anyway, I made the April blocks the other day, and enjoyed the process. Will post a photo when I get a chance.

@dpendleton - love your blocks. They are so bright and happy.
I downloaded this month's but haven't started them. I like both equally so will probably do two and choose which to use when we assemble the quilt.

I finally got my two for April done, my focus was off for most of March and April with my mom's passing but the hard stuff is over. All my brothers played well at the funeral and any paperwork that all of them had to sign off on has been done.
That said I enjoyed sewing this week, I changed the blues as I was sewing the blocks and I think it made for a better outcome. As usual I did look at her instructions and went, I can cut that differently and save fabric. Now to start working on other UFO's It feels good to have time to work on my projects in the afternoon.

Nice blocks Dedemac. Glad things are settling for you. Sewing is very therapeutic for me.
I've got my blocks done but still need to trim them and take pictures. Since I changed to black thread for them, I pulled out another project I found that is also using black thread and got distracted by that for a while.

Dedemac, I love your shades of blue! I like how the light and dark blue set off the pentagon units.
Quossum, the center fruit print carries the light blue and red colors nicely.
I'm hoping to finish mine this weekend or early next week. The month just flies by!
