No game watching here either. Closest I'll be getting to a party will be when I make a platter or two of nachos!

Today glue basting a quilt for PL that meets this Friday. While glue is drying, working on blocks for next quilt. Have to square up the blocks and then put it together. Would be great if I could bet both blocks done by Friday snice would have TWO UPFs out of my sewing room.

It's 4:30 and hubby had things that he wanted to do, which ended up involving me. So no machine sewing today. I guess I'll just work on stitching down the binding on a lap quilt tonight, it's about 1/3 finished.

No sewing today..... I am watching the Olympics and will switch to football from time to time. No sewing for me today. That means tomorrow is going to be major sewing for me tomorrow! I have two quilts to layer and quilt by Friday...my goal date.

That's beautiful! Thank you for sharing.

No actual quilting for me this weekend, unless you count loading the Amara to quilt my Garden Glow bed quilt. The wideback I purchased for it shrunk from 108" to 100.5" in the wash (the quilt top is 96"), so I'll need to watch closely when I baste the sides as I advance.

I also played my new-to-me Bernina 790 Pro that I just got on Thursday, and started shopping for the feet I need for quilt piecing and binding. It has a 97D, but I need a 10D, 34D, and possibly a 57D.

Well my plans went awry today! We didn’t get home from church until 1–we had a luncheon after the service. Then the afternoon has been spent cleaning up after a sick kitty and comforting her. She has thrown up several times this afternoon, we will be calling the vet in the am. Now I’m watching the game for the commercials! See you next weekend for the regularly scheduled VQW 😁
