Terriamn, it's great that you found your rabbit fabric and that you are enjoying your trip! If you haven't tried collard greens, they're a must.

Moonwork, beautiful nails. Your a walking advertisement for your granddaughter. Your other granddaughter will be thrilled to have you there.

Hope to quilt at least one of my little fish tops today. Enjoy your day.

Yes Sewbiz we have spent the last 2 days in the Smokey Mountains. Incredibly gorgeous so glad dh likes to drive because all the curves in the roads would totally freak me out.

Biblestone great blocks

Moon i am going to make you a different block. the title of the one I made was called Star of something but after looking at it in the gallery it doesn’t look like a star to me

Pretty blocks, B'stone!

Terri, we love the Smokies! We camped there many times when our children were young. Were there many wildflowers this time of year?

I'm still working on quilting my BurgSur. I thought I was done with the main part, but then I found a row of blocks I'd skipped over.... The quilting pattern is the same on each block, but it goes pretty fast. Then I will do something simple in all of the sashing pieces and I'll be DONE! Can't wait to show y'all.

I have pulled out my lion fabric and am planning a block with it, but I don't have any dark navy, or at least I haven't found it yet. I might have to go shopping (oh no!). That lion fabric was one of the first Cotton and Steel fabrics, from before their best designers left and formed Rifle Paper Company. The early designs were a bit 'edgier' than the current offerings. I got the lion fabric just as it was going out of print.

Yes Sewbiz the wildflowers were blooming profusely, their were fields filled with them.

Can’t wait to see your Bur Sur.

I think we stopped at 5 different quilt shops but it wasn’t as much fun as usual. I really tried to buy brown on browns only. My eyes and fingers did seem to have a mind of their own now and then so there are some pretty things to play with when we get home
