Hi from Northern Indiana! I think it would be great to have a long arm, especially if you want to quilt a lot of tops. Have you tried quilting on your domestic machine?

Welcome from Illinois! I took a class on a Gammill today and can't wait to get a couple of tops together so I can take them and work on them myself. I need a LOT of practice before I would work on one that I would give away. I found it extremely difficult to do anything that resembled a heart, or stars on the top. I would never buy one without practicing on it and looking at a couple of them. I think the Gammill is the Cadillac of LAQ machines ... not sure. Good luck!
I wish I had land on which I could organic farm. Been buying as much organic foods as I can afford. If I lived near you I would work on your farm.
