    I'd be on that like white on rice....

    I want a parlor cabinet so bad I can taste it!! :lol: This one tho, if you enlarge the photo looks like it has some cosmetic issues...Most likely nothing that can't be fixed tho.

    I wold get both, but offer a lower price---visit the Vintage Sewing Machine Shop here---and read till your eyeballs fall out! over 1100 pages now on vintage machines!

    The prices are a little high and I'd especially be a little leary of the electric one because of the swing away motor. You can't get the rubber tire that goes on the wheel on it. I have one with the same motor and have tried.

    Have access to an old shop that may have some tires -
    Is it possible for you to send me the info to know size/make ?? --anyway to make absolutely sure it's the correct size -Then glad to put in mail for cost only . I know how you feel.
    Going to a shop on Fri June 3 also the other one next Tues.
    Can not promise but I will try.

    Since your trading I'd do both! But I love the old machines. As for the needles Billy (lostn51) can usually point you in the right direction. Also as for cleaning if you search vintage cleaning from the search link his tutorials will pop up.

    Good Luck and take picks when you get them home!

    Remember also that you can use panty hose as a belt for your treadle machines. I have panty hose on mine and find it very easy to adjust when needed.
    I use my treadle daily in preference to all of my other electric machines. It sews beautifully and I enjoy the control I have as it sews slower than the electrics.
