I love these scrappy quilts. This one is lovely. Don't forget to put flannel on the back to make it extra snugly.:)

Actually I just quessed at the size to make. I think its about 7 x 11.

I always put labels on my quilts and usually make them ahead of time but have not made one for this quilt yet. I also cut my binding ahead of time as I hate having to do it when I'm finished with the quilt.

I have one that I bought from our church that the lady was 90+ years old when she made it. She is now 101 years young. I just love it. She is also the lady that got me started into quilting.

This is a wonderful scrap quilt. The fabrics are just brilliant and working so gracefully together. Thank you for sharing.

    Beautiful scrappy quilt!

I love looking at closeups of scrappy quilts. I found 4 fabrics in yours that I have in mine. :D I like your idea of preparing the label and binding before the quilt is done.

I love string quilts and as someone already said, they are a stress buster. I love looking at others to see if I can pick out any fabric I have too! yours is so pretty.

Beautiful so far!!! Looks warm and cozy to me!! I've made 5 string quilts so far and love making them as they are so practical and get more use than the 'showy' ones!! Keep up the good work!
