it is never easy losing a loved one but day by day, week by week it will get easier. You will be able to think of all the good times you shared and smile at the memories and best of all you will be glad you honored his wishes and nursed him at home.
I lost my mum too to cancer and my dad and I nursed her until the end at home and to this day my dad says it is the best thing he ever did and I agree too even though it was hard. Here in Australia we have the same as you with nurses coming day and night to assist and all equipment supplied.

My condolences to you and family on your loss. Glad to see you back, and come back often and show off your creations. Quilting is such a good way to relieve stress. And don't forget to cry when you want to. It is OK. Hugs and prayers for you.

Prayers going out to you and your family. I'm new to the board, but cancer has taken everyone in my and my husband's family so we know the loss. Quilting for yourself is a good start on your healing. Please take care of yourself.
