    I starch my fabric and let dry before ironing. If in a hurry I starch it and toss in dryer.

    Yes it worked. But I did find it too annoying, in a lot of ways.

    Nothing was mentioned (I don't think) as to whether you are pressing with a dry iron? or steam?
    FWIW, I just use a dry iron, highest temp on the Oliso.

    Let us know, what makes a difference for you!!
    Hello friend! I use a dry iron always. And I lowered the temp on my Oliso but it didn't seem to help.

    Hope that you figure it out as there's nothing more frustrating, than not being able to press easily.

    One more thing. Do you clean your iron regularly? When you use any
    kind of starch there's always some residue on the iron. I've learned to
    check my iron everyday before switching it on. If it's not smooth that
    means it needs cleaning. Otherwise I pay the price. LOL
